Neil Warnock is intent on bringing Asian players to Queens Park Rangers as a catalyst to increase the profile of the club.
Warnock wants to sign five players in January in a bid to keep their Barclays Premier League status next season.
"I'm not saying they're all going to be big-name signings but we need numbers in the squad," said the boss.
"If we sign a few players from Asia it will definitely help QPR develop as a brand.

could spend £10million on a striker and he will not play as well as
Heidar Helguson on Saturday, so you have to be careful as a manager.
"By all means we want to improve the squad long-term, as well as the immediate concern."
Since
Tony Fernandes took over in August five signings were completed, and
the Malaysian businessman is ready to back the club again.
As the
clubs popularity grows, Warnock knows looking to Asia is beneficial and
he has revealed he went to see three players in action in a World Cup
qualifier between United Arab Emirates and South Korea less than two
weeks ago.
"By owning a Premier League club Tony has shot up in
profile over there. This is the start of something and I feel the club
can develop a global presence because of the owners and the contacts
they have," added Warnock.
QPR will not be the first team to sign
players from Asia as Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal have
already registered interest in various players from that continent.
